To whom it may concern:
I am writing to invite Ankam Lokesh Kumar to attend the Boston GrandHack 2026, a healthcare
innovation event hosted at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology by MIT Hacking Medicine. The
dates of this event spans March 13th, 2026 to March 15th, 2026, in person in Cambridge, MA, USA.
MIT Hacking Medicine has a mission to energize and connect the best minds across the health
ecosystem to solve healthcare’s biggest challenges and to teach healthcare entrepreneurship and digital
strategies to scale medicine. To foster this process, MIT Hacking Medicine brings together engineers,
clinicians, entrepreneurs, designers, and corporate partners to collaborate around shared interests and
develop health solutions over hackathons (ranging from 2-hour to full 2-day events) with potential for
greater impact in the healthcare industry. In these events, MIT Hacking Medicine guides participants
through the healthcare design thinking process and strategies developed to constructively tackle systemic
healthcare issues and generate tangible solutions.
For over twelve years, MIT Hacking Medicine has provided immense value to the healthcare landscape.
We have facilitated over 300 hackathons across dozens of countries and multiple US states. Teams
coming out of our events have had successes joining prestigious accelerators, raising significant
investment funding, and partnering with healthcare institutions or companies towards implementing their
hack ideas. To date, we have contributed to the formation of 50+ companies that have raised over $2.5B
in financing.
GrandHack, (BeyondHack for teams) is our flagship annual event. Last year, we had over 400 individuals
involved, ranging from participants, mentors, and judges. All applicants go through a rigorous application
process, and Ankam Lokesh Kumar was granted acceptance to the event due to their highly qualified
application. We hope to see them in person at MIT Media Lab, 75 Amherst St, Cambridge, MA 02139,
USA!
